The game ‘Alicia’ that’s gotten the nation hooked on horses has revealed images of their new model IU.

Ahead of the Ntreev Open, the photoshoot for IU as new spokesmodel for ‘The Story of a Horse and Me, Alicia' was released on the 14th.



As a model for ‘Alicia’, IU participated in a variety of concepts in order to best depict the new Alicia mascot. As the new face of the brand, the concepts of goddess and horseback rider will be used in all advertisements for ‘Alicia.’

IU herself visited Ntreev to take part in the game tests and even took horseback riding lessons. Soon, Ntreev plans on releasing a CF, music video, and OST with IU as ‘Alicia.’

IU will be an exclusive model for ‘Alicia,’ a game meant to familiarize people with ‘horses’ and ‘racing,’ and thus, set a new genre of gaming called ‘action riding.’ Gamers will get to travel through nature on horseback by jumping, gliding, and sliding and will get to experience the joys and triumphs of such a journey. Not only that, gamers will get to raise and care for their horse on a ranch, and will feel the satisfaction of getting to know horses better.

Girl group DalShabet recently made an appearance on the Happy Together episode that will air on the 13th. They have successfully made their variety show debut.

Last week, with their song 'Supa Supa Diva', DalShabet members Jiyul and Subin impressed the MCs Yoo Jaesuk and Park Myungsoo with their funny stories and non-rookie like talking abilities. Park Myungsoo even asked them to make an appearance on the other show he is hosting called '100 Points out of 100'.

Jiyul and Subin shared, "It was such an honor to be on a show that we both enjoyed watching with our families. Although we did get nervous in the beginning, we were able to calm down because of the sunbae's acting so comfortably with us."

4Minute, including other co-CUBE Entertainment artists such as BEAST and G.NA, had just finished a successful concert in Malaysia yesterday. However, behind the girls' energetic and fierce performance for the concert, was the unknown condition of 4Minute's Leader, Nam Jihyun, as she has been reportedly suffering from bad health conditions even before they went to Malaysia.

A staff from CUBE said that she started this New Year while gravely suffering from severe colds. It also seemed like her condition got worst the moment they went to Malaysia as her body had a hard time adjusting to the changing weather temperature as they transferred from South Korea to Malaysia. He also said that Jihyun is currently getting some treatments and is trying her best to feel better as soon as possible.

CUBE's representative also revealed that they already recommended Jihyun to take a break with her family to avoid further harm on her health; however, she still insisted on finishing all her responsibilities for she was also worried for the group's performance and enforced that she has to finish what the group has committed of doing.

Meanwhile, the girls of 4Minute are also in their preparations for their upcoming comeback.

It has been confirmed that the concert ticket sales site faced a server downtime due to BEAST’s popularity.

There had been an incident were the BEAST encore concert ticket selling sites faced a downtime in their server in only a minute. The ticket sales opened exactly that 8PM KST on the 12th, however due to the influx of the fans, the site had faces downtime.

It only took a minute for the server to go down. This displays the amount of love BEAST had been receiving from their fans. BEAST’s management stated, “We will try to recover it as soon as possible.”

Meanwhile, BEAST’s encore concert ‘Welcome BACK to BEAST Airline’ will be held on February 18th and 19th at the Seoul Olympic Gymnasium.
